i had an appointment within 2 weeks of them receiving my referral. everything was sorted at the first appointment which took about 3 hours and was run like a well oiled machine. the staff were lovely. a week later i received a date for my op, the time from the barlborough receiving my referral and the op was 32 days. amazing service! jackie, september 2017 i have just had a full hip replacement! couldn’t have wished for better treatment. staff are amazing, food is lovely. i cannot complain about one thing from start to finish. treated well by all, highly recommend this hospital would not use another now! thank you so much to every one of you patricia, july 2017 i wanted to try barlborough purely because i was unsatisfied with my treatment at another hospital. from the nurses to the person who took me to theatre to the surgeon, you cannot fault the care you receive there. 8 weeks after my operation i am still receiving physiotherapy which couldn’t be better. all in all i wouldn’t go anywhere else for treatment. barlborough has set the bar really high and other hospitals would struggle to reach. all the staff are a credit to the nhs. thank you polly, may 2017 i came in 2016 for a spinal decompression. i had a long journey to get there but it was well worth it. i found the staff excellent – that’s all of them. it’s nice to meet highly motivated people with high moral. i can’t complain about anything. i have to say thank-you to the domestic, medical and theatre staff, not forgetting the surgeon for doing an excellent job. paul peterson, november, 2016 i needed a total hip replacement and was referred to barlborough by my consultant. what an excellent choice. from the day of my assessment to my final visit and discharge, the whole experience was wonderful. all of the staff are so caring and patient and nothing was too much trouble for any of them. i have an especially difficult diet, but it just wasn’t a problem for the barlborough team!
